FAQ

Straight Answers
to the Fair Questions.

A billing model this strict invites scrutiny — good. Here is exactly how it works, in the same terms it’s written into the agreement.

What counts as a customer?

A net-new lead in your own Salesforce whose Lifecycle Stage field reads Customer. Not a click, not a form fill, not a "qualified lead" — a customer by your own pipeline's definition. Each lead is billable exactly once, ever, enforced at the database level.

How do billing disputes work?

Every draft invoice lists each customer by name before anything is final. Dispute a line — a duplicate, a refund, not net-new — and it's excluded with a recorded reason. Finalized invoices are never edited; corrections are credit notes.

What happens in a month with no customers?

A $0 invoice. No minimum fee, no minimum term, no setup fee.

Can I leave whenever I want?

Yes. There is no contract minimum. Fees remain due only for customers created before you leave.

Who pays the ad spend?

Chosen at onboarding: you pay Google directly in your own account and the fee is 5% of your Agreed Customer Value per customer — or MariaCare carries the ad spend and the fee is 10%.

Who owns the ad account and the data?

You do, in both arrangements. The Google Ads account, the Salesforce org, the WordPress site, and every lead record are yours. If we part ways, everything stays with you.

What if a customer cancels right away?

Agreements can include a retention window — for example 30 days. A customer who leaves within the window is never billed at all: it's not billed-then-credited, the fee never comes into existence. A customer who stays past the window is billable.

How is my data kept secure?

Credentials are encrypted at rest on your own server. Every MariaCare site runs daily malware, integrity, and vulnerability scanning, login rate limiting, and two-factor authentication for admins — and each site sends a cryptographically signed heartbeat to MariaCare's monitoring center every 15 minutes, so a site going dark or a failed signature raises a critical alert within the hour. AI access is read-only and key-gated.

Pay-Per-Customer Advertising

Pay When a Customer Is Created.
Not Before.

5% of your Agreed Customer Value per customer when you pay ad spend, 10% when MariaCare pays it — confirmed in your own Salesforce, invoiced monthly with every line traceable to a record. No retainers, no minimums.

THE FEE
5% or 10% of Customer Value

Per customer created — 5% when you pay ad spend, 10% when we do. Agreed at onboarding from your financials, reviewed quarterly. No retainers, no minimums.

THE PROOF
Your Salesforce Decides

A customer counts only when its Lifecycle Stage reads Customer in your Salesforce — deduplicated, attributed, and auditable on every invoice line.
